Follow Friday

Q: What is the BIGGEST word you've seen used in a book lately - that made you stop and look it up? Might as well leave the definition & book too.

I guess because I ready mostly YA, I haven't had to look a word up since 2010. I don't remember the book or even the word. But for a while I kept a chart of words and definitions, so I know I have had to look up a word.

    old follower...Hi! I am currently reading an arc that had the word obsequious. Had no idea what that meant....I learn alot from reading!

    I read a lot of YA too and enjoy the more simplistic and straightforward writing. The word I had to look up was from David Mitchell's novel Cloud Atlas. Check it out here

    That's awesome that you used to keep a list of unfamiliar words. I should do that, but I doubt I will. I think I am too lazy.
