J is for just. As in just appeared in my manuscript 500 times in 350 pages. Or as in just remember I'm giving away 7 books.
J is also for Josh. As in Josh, my little brother, is in Iraq. Miss you Josh-ey.
J is just on my nerves right now. I seriously don't have much to say about it, but I signed up for this challenge so look at me try.
Wow, this letter blogging is hard. I don't think I could do it. You're doing well though, Beth!
ReplyDeleteWow - you counted the number of times you used the word just in your MS? Yikes. I'd be too afraid to do that. When I think I've polished the plot and characters and setting as much as I can, I do an editing pass to find my overused words and weak words. So helpful.
ReplyDeleteJ was a tough one for me, too. You did a good job. Tell your brother Josh-y that we are thankful for his service, and pray for his safe return home. New follower.
ReplyDeleteI hope josh gets home safe -- and soon. Great try on the letter J. Looking forward to your next post.
