Big Dreams Blogfest

The Big Dreams Blogfest is hosted by Misha Gericke. And on update day (which was actually Friday but Beth did not have access to a computer and blogging from a phone... is just rough) we come together to talk about what we've done to help reach our goals.

I have two goals. Write a million words. Make a million dollars. So far I'm still 0 for 2. In November, I was supposed to edit Perfect Harmony and get it to my cps and get most of the way through if not finish The Last Marlowe Girl. I got forty pages of Perfect Harmony edited. I wrote 0 words. For the month. I really didn't even blog and I owe my cp two manuscripts. Yep. Beth's behind. Basically, I accomplished nothing in November. My goals for December are to get my cp's books back to her. Edit a couple of test manuscripts for potential jobs and hopefully edit PerfectHarmony and get it to readers. My production schedule is officially whacked.

So how are your goals going?

  1. Don't worry, Beth. We all go through it. There just isn't enough hours in the day. Sigh. I'm off on my goals also. I'm sitting in the conference room at my day job and realized I forgot my laptop so I can't write on my hour break. im on my cell mow. My son has a basketball game when I get off so that means I won't be able to write until very late. I hope things start to slow down for you.

  3. I think November ha been busy for most everyone. Lately, I've been running in circles and ending up nowhere. Hang in there. This too shall pass.

  5. I got a lot of editing in this month, but wrote only about 1/2 as much as I'd planned. December means lots of long car trips and this year I'm determined to make good use of them. :) You had a lot going on in November so cut yourself some slack.

  6. If it makes you feel any better I got nothing written or edited in October or November, and I know I'll do nothing this month either. Too much to do for the release. I hope 2014 will be a better Good luck with your edits and writing, Beth! :-)

  7. I feel like production schedules are sort of meant to be altered, however slightly or drastically. They're more of a guideline than anything. We do the best we can, but we can only do so much. Good luck with everything!
