Back Baby ;)

I appreciate all the support last night, and I know what you're thinking. Beth, you're such a drama queen. That was the shortest hiatus ever. And it probably was, but you're the reason why. I felt a need to unplug for a while because the people who stole my story apparently prefer erotica to clean romance. They trolled me! Their 1 star ratings brought my goodreads status down 1.2 points in two days, and I know it was them because the book wasn't available legally in the "reviewer's location."

And so many of you reached out to me last night that I realized the internet allows pirates and trolls in our modern wold, but it also allows me to be friends with people all around the world who I would have never met otherwise. People offered to help, so I've given books to anyone I know to love clean romance and hopefully by the time my blog tour starts Tuesday my rating will be back up. If not, I guess the world won't end. So today's post was supposed to feature Nickie Anderson from Here's the Story, and it did. But I had to say that I'm back so you're listening to me instead of reading her. It would make me super happy if you would go say, "Hi," to Nickie. Thanks!!!!

  1. I'm glad you aren't letting those pirates win, Beth. Good for you. You've got all of us behind you.

    And yay for Nickie!

  3. Beth, I came here, because you liked my review. I am so sorry, and I know this has happened to others...what they get out of it is beyond me. I do a lot of Christian books, and it is very prevalent there. I wish there was something that could be done about this. I know some have hit Amazon, and trying to bring down ratings. I see some of the of the ones who put the book down...no review, and another doesn't write in English. Have you published in other languages?
As you can see, I enjoyed the books! Keep writing, and don't let them get you down!

    1. No the book hasn't even been published in other languages! I think what happened is I posted the identity of the pirate, because she blogs an archive of all the books she pirates (2000 since Feb) and then I started getting neg reviews. Thank you so much for coming by. I enjoyed your review and I really appreciate your support.

    1. Oh, and turn that blog over to both blogger (if that's the platform) and the FBI.

  10. Welcome back! I'm so sorry that happened to your book. The pirates already did enough damage by stealing the book ... did they really need to troll it to? Some people are just horrible.
